Brail Construction Sponsored NECO GCE Exams for 120 Oke-Bola Students

In a remarkable show of community support and commitment to education, Brail Construction successfully sponsored 120 students of Oke-Bola Comprehensive High School, Ibadan, for the 2024 NECO GCE (November/December) SSCE External Examination.

The initiative, carried out in 2024 as part of Brail’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, aimed to bridge the financial gap that often prevents promising students from accessing critical academic opportunities. The full sponsorship covered the cost of exam registration for all 120 beneficiaries.

A Timely Response to Economic Challenges

At a time when many Nigerian families faced significant financial strain, Brail Construction’s intervention ensured that no eligible student from Oke-Bola Comprehensive High School was left behind due to inability to pay examination fees.

“We understand the current economic realities and the burden it places on families,” a company representative said at the time. “Education remains one of the most powerful tools for change, and it is our responsibility to support the next generation wherever possible.”

Why Oke-Bola Comprehensive High School?

Brail Construction chose Oke-Bola Comprehensive High School for its strong track record of academic discipline and dedication to educating students from low-income backgrounds. Despite limited resources, the school has continued to nurture students with great potential and ambition. “We saw in these students not only hope, but resilience,” the spokesperson added. “This sponsorship was an investment in their future—and in the future of the community.

Lasting Impact

The sponsored students successfully sat for their examinations, and many have since progressed in their academic journeys. The initiative not only lifted the financial burden off parents and guardians, but also served as a major morale boost for the school and the community at large.

Brail Construction’s commitment to social impact continues to go beyond infrastructure—it is about building lives, creating opportunities, and uplifting communities.
